Wisconsin multi-media artist, Amy Zander, specializes in handbuilding clay items, warm glass and outdoor metal artwork.  She has created a line of unique and functional pieces for use and display.    Amy appreciates the art in everyday life and enjoys making items that are beautiful as well as functional.  She has always channeled her energy into creating art.  Amy plays in the dirt for a living and she couldn't image doing anything else.

In the clay studio, Amy selects one of three different clay types depending on the piece that is going to be made.  To express her vivid imagination, she uses found objects and materials to give the clay form texture.  Pinch pots are one of the oldest methods of forming clay.  "They remain one of my favorite forms of expression."

In the metal studio, all of the metal artwork is made from found and recycled metals.  From the trellis' to flowers, birds and critters, each piece is an original!
